461 PAPARCIO ZIEDAS gladiolus L. (Priscilla x Drifted Snow) orig. Paulius Ciplijauskas 1991 E

Height – 140cm, buds – 21, open – 10. Plant is exclusively new. The plant stem twice exceed a medium thick gladiolus stem (diameter 22-25mm below first floret), very hardy texture (waxy) of petals and leaves. The stem is thicker than famous variety DIVINITY. The corms have increased sprouting energy in low temperature and very big. Blooms earlier or together with parent variety DRIFTED SNOW. Heavy super ruffled. The florets are of lightly rose colour with a pleat in the centre and a light yellow little tongue. The variety belongs to the groups of decorative and exhibition. So it looks good from long and short distance. Good for blooming in greenhouses, but must be planted not more than 3 months earlier than outdoor sowing if you have no artificial lighting in your greenhouse. Grow well from cormlets.
